Incheon Korail FC is a South Korean football club based in the city of Incheon, and is owned and operated by Korail, the national railroad operator of South Korea. It currently plays in the National League, the second division of Korean football. It is the oldest football club in the South Korean league set-up.
The club was initially founded in 1943 as Joseon Railway Football Club, however the team name changed in 1945 after the end of Japanese colonialism, to Ministry of Transportation Football Club.
The team competed in the various amateur football competitions of the time, before changing its name again in 1963, this time becoming Railroad Football Club. There was to be a further name change in 1995 when it adopted the name Korea National Railroad Football Club, and prior to the 2008 season the club’s official name changed to Incheon Korail.
