The Gyeongbu High-speed Line is a Korean High-speed rail line between Geumcheon-gu Office Station, Seoul and Jicheon Station, Chilgok, Gyeongsangbukdo in South Korea. It is divided in two sections: Geumcheon-gu Office-North Daejeon, South Daejeon-North Daegu. Lines between HSLs and classic lines are considered as branches. The line, which takes its name from the older Gyeongbu Line, is reserved for KTX trains only.
An extension from Daegu to Busan is currently under construction, and is expected to open in 2010. Currently, KTX trains traveling between Dongdaegu and Busan use the normal Gyeongbu Line.
The French in-cab signalling system TVM-430 has been installed on this line.
